Henri-Edmond Cross, born Henri-Edmond-Joseph Delacroix, was a French painter and print maker, famed for his contributions to the Neo-Impressionistic and Fauvist styles of painting. It has been noted also that his work has been an inspiration to many other influential artists, such as Henri Matisse.
