Historical Context:
A painter and etcher specializing in photo-realistic watercolor paintings, Bruce McCombs has displayed his art around the country and around the world. Having received a Bachelor's Degree in fine arts from the Cleveland Institute of art and a Masters degree in fine arts from Tulane University, he is now a faculty member at Hope college, the subject of many of his pieces. He has become fascinated with eclectic architecture and captures unusual glimpses of structures we see every day, bringing to light something new about the ordinary.
