Abstract orange, green, white, black; appears to be a distorted autumn tree scene through glass. Background orange/green, out-of-focus.
Historical Context:
"When I was young, my mother had a large collection of snow globes. It caused me to wonder whether we lived in a giant snow globe. Looking into snow globes was like looking into another world and Michigan winters did little to dispel my curiosity. With age came the reluctant acknowledgement that a snow globe is best classified as a metaphor for a way of understanding the world around us. Encapsulated within the glass appears to be a compressed form of my larger surroundings. These images acknowledge a world of ambiguities and at the same time affirm the clarity of vision derived from the use of a lens." -Amber Felicioni
