This photograph was first featured as part of the first annual Padnos International Center's PIC Pics: A Study Abroad Photo Contest. All GVSU students who studied abroad are invited to submit their photographs in the a variety of categories including: 'Where is Your Classroom?", 'Get Lost', 'Social Issues', 'Send Me There!', 'The Great Outdoors', and 'Celebration, Tradition, and Ritual'. The winning images are selected by public vote and those with the most votes became part of the GVSU Art Gallery collection.
