Jules-Alexandre Grün was a French post-impressionist painter, poster artist and illustrator. He became famous for his illustrative posters and was employed at a large printing company in Paris. The original artwork is from the Robert L. Hoskins and Erwin A. Raible Collection of Fin de Siècle French Prints, a gift of Elaine Rutowski Shay.
