Festival of the Arts has been a Grand Rapids tradition for over forty years, always occuring during the first full weekend in June. This family-friendly art exhibition features a variety of performances by local artists including dancing and poetry reading among others, hands-on activities for children, an art sales tent, and a variety of food choices. Because Festival is funded by local companies and organizations, all activities and exhibits are free to the public.
