"At the dawn of the twenty first century we are confronted with the digital integration of our relationships between one another. Over time the devices become vehicles to our own alienation as we replace touch with touch screens and biology with binary. As our dependency on technology for existence grows we are seemingly unaware of its consequences. With this series I have discovered that forging connections with others in manufactured worlds amounts to a relationship no more real than the ground it is founded on. The question remains, 'How much of your life is synthetic?'" -Andrew Peregoy
