Historical Context:
"I chose to represent my work by mimicking multiple exposure photography with a digital process. Utilizing anywhere between two and ten images layered together, I was able to compose a very chaotic, surreal vision that focuses on creating mystery within objects. Layering and subsequently articulating portions of each photograph helped to add interesting combinations of color, texture, and depth...In the end, this process has allowed me to create a sense of mystery, depth, and disorganization within ordinarily organized objects." -Christina Mayer
