Historical Context:
Daniel Ramirez is a certified descendant of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. For many years he has dedicated himself to becoming the best painter of contemporary woodland images in memory of his mother, a full blood Saginaw Band Chippewa. Ramirez has also built a successful art retail business that has been in existence for fifteen years and has been a leader in contemporary art innovations.
