Leonie was born in 1954 in Smithton, Tasmania.
Lee enjoyed an interesting upbringing learning about her Aboriginal Ancestry. Lee has always had a great interest in art and has spent much of her life acquiring skills to produce beautiful pieces.
Lee has studied and worked with graphite drawing, acrylics, pastels and oils and created a diverse portfolio of landscapes, still lives and portrait paintings.
Having always embraced her Aboriginal heritage, Lee began to use her skills and knowledge of art in combination with her culture and has since developed a colorful and unique representation of her people.
Now living in Queensland, Lee spends her time creating colourful aboriginal stories on her canvas.
