Saralee Howard

Artist Biography:
A therapist by day, an artist by night A licensed professional therapist by day and an artist by night, I paint and counsel with joy and with an abiding interest in both external and internal landscapes. I have exhibited at Grand Rapids’ ArtPrize for the past six years. During 2016 I had a dozen juried acceptances including artworks shown at the Edward Hopper House Art Center, Nyack, NY, and the Collectors Show in Grand Rapids, MI. I am particularly “over the moon” about art having just won Grand Prize at the 2016 Mackinac Art Museum exhibit "The Waters of Mackinac" on Mackinac Island, MI. for my mixed media piece Leaving Mackinac (Rain and Tears). Grand Valley State University just purchased the piece for its permanent collections.
