Collin Bradford joined Grand Valley State University's art and design faculty in 2008, teaching video and audio production & editing, visual studies and new media. In the short time since earning his M.F.A. his works have been screened across the United States and in Europe. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, and his bilingual skills have influenced ways in language informs his art. his recent short film Waking Helen, was chosen to be screened at the opening of the Het Beschrijf 10th Anniversary Celebration, in Brussels, Belgium in 2008.
"I grew up all over the United States, studied Painting and Spanish Translation at Brigham Young University, and went to the University of Illinois for graduate school in New Media art.
I am married, have two kids, and I like to bike and run."
