Lass is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art with a degree in graphic desworkshops in the U.S., she has studied in Canada, Mexico, Europe and Russia. She is best known for her watercolor paintings of koi (Japanese carp). "It's all about pattern and color," she says. "There's something about water that fascinates me. I like the colors of the water, the movement of the fish through the water."
