Artist Biography:
Paul Collins takes inspiration for his work from his extensive travel through Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. Collins was commissioned for the 18 x 8 ft. mural of Grand Rapids native Gerald R. Ford in 1975, currently on display at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport. His "Americans at Work" Collection is on permanent display at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has received many awards throughout his career including the Mead Book Award, the People's Choice Award in Paris, and the Ceba Award for Excellence. Through his art Collins demonstrates a passion for revealing the essence of humanity, the essence of noblemen, warriors, and commoners alike.
