"My intention is to exploit some of the codes of fashion photography in order to give apparent authenticity to my fabrications, which in themselves are incredible, and unlikely. In this respect, photographic illusion assumes a major role in understanding these images. Fashion is what the individual makes of it. This is what I make of it."
