Artist Biography:
Vera Klement's artwork focuses on portraying objects in an isolated state. She attended the Cooper Union School of Art and Architecture, and served as a Professor Emerita at the Univerity of Chicago for almost thirty years. Her work has appeared in many exhibits across the United States, and her work is featured in the collections of institutions like the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Museum of American Art in Washington D.C.
