Artist Biography:
J. Brett Grill is a painter and sculptor currently residing in Columbia, Missouri. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, emphasis in figurative sculpture, from the University of Michigan in 2001; and received his Master's of Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art in 2003. He is currently Assistant Professor of Art at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO where he teaches drawing and painting. Additionally, he has received numerous sculpture commissions, such as the President Gerald R. Ford memorial sculpture that is installed in the Capitol rotunda in Washington, D.C., and is part of the National Statuary Collection.
