"This body of work revolves around the environmental concerns and how we react to those concerns. Humans have a noticeable impact on their environment and a lot of it is negative. What kind of effects do we have on our environment, what kinds of things are being done to help sustain the environment, do people really care what happens to the environment? These were some of the questions explored in this body of work. One of the interesting things discovered during these explorations is that people don't want to know how badly they affect their surroundings. Even things like the Green Movement can be twisted so that they are not as beneficial to the environment as they are supposed to be: rain forests are clear cut to grow organic crops, and bio-fuel crops fill gas tanks instead of providing relief to the hungry. People either seem to want to not know how they damage the environment or want some sort of fix that will not affect their everyday lives."
