"Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual." Edward Weston
What makes sense in photographs? Is it the subject? Sometimes subject matter is not the most important part of the photograph. Light and texture have a profound effect on color, and that is what I wanted to emphasize with my thesis. Color, light, and form force their way through to create significance. It does not matter what was in front of the camera, as long as you walk away with an appreciation for the photograph.
