I began this project trying to create paradoxes. I wanted to show that nothing is "ever really one or the other, there's a paradox in every paradigm." I now incorporate mirrors to show more than one "side" to things and to distorit one's sense of space.There seems to be a commonly shared notion that a photograph depicts coherently what is in front of the amera. By using mirrors, I combine appearances from multiple vantage points, and present them to the viewer as if they were continuous, in order to encourage awareness of vision as an organizing action.
