"There are an enormous number of things in the world that compete for our attention at every moment. Much of our visual activity involves simply attending to the ones that matter in terms of our immediate activities. My thesis asks you to look beyond the fact of things and focus on what emerges from the spaces and apparent relationships between things. Color fields, unexpected formal connections, and spatial ambiguity are the core foundation of these images. This is how I see it. Do you see what I mean?"
