A new vision when looking at a landscape with the human eye, only limited detail can be seen. One may look at the grass beneath their feet and awe in the vibrancy of texture and color that each blade contains and yet be blind to the vast detailed landscape beyond sight. The human eye is not capable of focusing on detail at once, both near and far, and thus sets parameters for our mind to capture the extent of detail throughout a landscape. Through the process of High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, I invite viewers to look at a highly dimensional view of the world, in which invites the eye into new means of seeing. Through my photographs, I intend: to capture every vivacious color, to enhance every minute detail in form and texture, and to illustrate the astonishing play of light and shadow throughout each landscape so that one might see the world in a new way.
