Artist Biography:
"When I tell others that I am from Detroit, Michigan, they stare at me in disbelief and question me due to its bad reputation. I lived in this city for 21 years and experienced more good times than bad. Detroit is a large community that is full of life, entertainment, and art. It isn't that Detroit doesn't posess problems, but what city doesn't? Detroit is more than gangs, drugs, and violence; it's a place that I call home. Given the chance, anyone can fall in love with it." -Lyanna Hampton
