Artist Biography:
A graduate of the Alberta College of Art and Design in Alberta, Canada, Carol Campbell has since returned to her birthplace of Kingston, Jamaica. This is where she designs and produces several major commissions including gifts for HRH Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, the Bishop of Kingston, and the National Gallery of Jamaica. She teaches Jewelry and Design at the Edna Manley College for the Visual & Performing Arts and also owns and operates the only dedicated applied arts gallery in Kingston, the Revolution Gallery, which showcases functional and decorative art in the craft media including clay, wood, metal, glass, mixed media, jewelry, and new media. Their mission is to encourage innovative concepts about craft through exhibitions, seminars, and classes.
