He is a Dutch painter, draftsman, printmaker, illustrator, sculptor working out out of Amsterdam. From 1959 to 1961 he studied at the Institute of Applied Arts in Amsterdam. Most famously he did the monument in 2006 for Theo van Gogh , The Scream and a portrait of Queen Beatrix.
