Artist's statement on "Saturday Morning Psychology":

"Photography for me has very rarely been a means of presenting the literal so much as the figurative, the nonsensical, or the subconscious. When making these images, I experimented with visual representation but had no real meaning in mind. Making them was like putting together a puzzle that I had never seen before. Most of the time I wasn’t sure what I was doing, but by the end the pieces all fit together. You can learn a lot about me by looking at these photos but I have also found that I can learn a lot about others by listening to their reactions. The viewer constructs the meaning of these photographs much like an inkblot test, but with more visual impact." -Christopher Michael Hughes
