Ian Vanderhill graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2008 with a degree in art and Illustration. His work challenges its viewers with digital images combined with cartoon characters, creating endless stories of fun and adventure. On his work he states: "Why Being an Illustrator is Better Than Being Chased by Wolves… You get a chance to think of other illustrations that people would like to see that would make them want to tell you their stories, and then you hear their stories and want to make more illustrations that other people would like to see that would make them want to tell you their stories, and that is definitely better than being chased by wolves. Definitely."
