The National Museum of American Indians collaborates with the Native peoples of the Americas in an effort to protect and foster their cultures. The museum is home to more than 1.1 million works. The collection is comprised of many different types of artwork that range from sculptures to film. The art is not only extraordinary with regard its aesthetics, but these pieces also hold strong religious and historical values to the Natives.
