Artist Biography:
Leonard Baskin was an American sculptor, book illustrator, printmaker, graphic artist, writer and teacher. He founded Gehenna Press, a small private press specializing in fine book production, while a student at Yale University. He taught printmaking and sculpture at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts from 1953 to 1974.
