Wendy Withrow grew up very near the shores of Lake Michigan. She has a B.F.A. in Ceramics from Grand Valley State University and a diploma in Bookbinding from the North Bennet Street School in Boston. She studied bookbinding so she could hone her hand skills and build a career making things. She began Windy Weather Bindery in 2008 and now runs it out of her home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
