Inspired by Lake Michigan and the quaint towns found in Northwest Michigan, Kathleen Chaney Fritz's realistic water colors seem to catch the essence of the people landscape she paints. In 1985, after a decade of work as a commercial illustrator, Fritz decided to enter the risky world of fine art. She has been a tremendous success. Many of her originals have been turned into fast selling posters and sold out limited edition prints. Her art is an opportunity for those visiting Northern Michigan to take their memories back home with them.
