Artist Biography:
M.C. Escher (full name Maurits Cornelis Escher) was a Dutch graphic artist born in the Netherlands in the late 19th century. He is most widely recognized for his puzzling and impossible architectural drawings that play with perspective and tesselation. These mathematically-inspired fixtures of impossible construction explore the notion of infinity, allowing the viewer's eyes to follow the path of action forever.
