Jacqueline Vansen Cuppy graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 1987. On her work, she states: "My art uses drawings from my sketchbook, photographs, scans of flowers from my garden and missed media elements. The final collage is composed on a computer. During the creative process, I take advantage of the freedom that the digital tools provide while still maintaining a human touch in my art. By exploring line, color, texture and shapes I hope to create for the viewer an experience that is energetic and uplifting- as if to grab a frame in the middle of a symphony of sequences that reflect our lives."
