Kristin Organ received her B.F.A from Grand Valley State University, and her M.F.A in Metalsmithing from Indiana State University. Her earliest inspirations in the arts derive from her childhood, where she would often watch her mother create crafts for children in their neighborhood. She says that she loves working with tools and creating three dimensional objects, and she currently runs a company called Hickyjig.
