"This latest work takes it's cue from the environment in which it was necessarily created, i.e. my living space. Remnants of past mind musings also have influenced this work. The dream state, the least conscious and (perhaps) most active mental period, continues to inspire me. A long standing affair with language, which has often taken a back seat to visual expression, is beginning to emerge with the runic pieces. Not to overburden the tender, new idea with too much rhetoric, suffice to say that these pieces represent a commingling of 2-D (written), 3-D (tangible), and 4-D (abstract) symbolism." -Patricia Chatary
