“Art can be social currency.” -Teresa Zbiciak. Teresa Zbiciak is one of the few Grand Valley art students who helped design the centerpiece sculpture for the Memorial Garden in the Allendale Community Park. This original sculptures' curved walls simulate a geographical map of the township with the Grand River forming the top border. Embedded in the sculpture are bronze castings of everyday objects used by Allendale residents, as well as a topographical map of Lake Michigan Drive.
