Small sculpture composed of four linear elements that meet and then extend to upwards into curves forming a circle when sides are joined together. The shape is reminiscent of a key hole.
Historical Context:
In exploring the dimensionality of shapes and how they interact, color becomes merely an emphasis on shape to Cyril Lixenberg. This is a scaled model of the full sized sculpture, Amaranth, which sits outside Mackinac Hall on GVSU's Allendale Campus.
