Mundus Imaginalis: Intermondo
Artworks - Height: 29.0 in
Width: 20.0 in
Description: Several small pictures with green mechanisms, no order.
Historical Context: Mundus Imaginalis curiously incorporates the site of the Devos Center Complex. There are 34 objects, all coming from one whole form. They are within, and under the surface of, the Devos complex, and are no longer visible. The image "Intermondo" (one of the 3 large composite images) presents an isolated view of the 34 inset images in spatial relation to each other as they are located throughout the complex (north is at the top of the image). The other two large images, "Hoc Loco" and "Corpus Cognoscendi" are on display on the 1st floor. Embedded in a lower corner of each image are numbers indicating the distance and angle to the object.
