600 tiles depicting various historical medical objects and scenes displayed on a main floor lobby bulkhead.
Historical Context:
Olga and Alexander Florensky graduated from the Mukhina College of Art and Design in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1982. They work in multiple fields of art: painting, graphics, book illustration, sculpture, ceramics and animation. They have also taken part in a large number of film festivals, both in Russia and abroad. Works by Olga and Alexander Florensky are in the collections of many museums around the world, including the State Russian Museum and State Hermitage (St. Petersburg), the State Tretyakov Picture Gallery (Moscow), the Victoria & Albert museum (London), among many others.
